The essential elements of the MEDAN- Electric drive unit ELZ are the carriage, the toothed belt and
the grooved profile. This unit is driven by an electric motor of the customers choice.

The carriage converts the pulling force of the toothed belt through the slotted profile to the load. The covering sealing band protects the slot of the tube against external dust.

The end cover on one side of the tube houses the toothed belt reversing system as well as the motor langing system. The opposite end cap houses the belt tensioner and also the precise positioning device.

For the precise movement of heavy or off-set loads a linear bearing guide is attached to the ELZ.
